Part of my surprise was that it's the first non-Valve/Source FPS we're going to be officially supporting.Dog wrote:Why is it a surprise?
We want TheVille to be a living thriving gaming community...
He may have found that server now that the ville will be hosting one. He might not even need to start his own, if the only objective is to play on a civil server, but maybe he will still consider hosting one if the process of hosting would be fun for him?Fox_Blaze wrote:...He offers this because he's tired of pubbing on servers populated by people with....colorful and vulgar language. He justs wants a change of environment, and if it has the stamp of approval by both of his gaming daughters, then why not try gaming with you all at TheVille?
It's just a thought, but he said he'd liek to hear what your thoughts are.

At one point he was renting one BC2 server and two Crysis 2 servers, but after certain personal epiphanies and wrong-doings, he quit paying for them and quit playing multi player games for a long time. But now he's ready for something new, so I'm sure he'd still host a server despite having the opportunity to play here. He talks about being strict of who goes on there in terms of language and general bad behavior. I once watched him twiddle with the admin panel on the bc2 server he had and he once banned himself with the description "No one likes you" just for the lolz. Then he unbanned himselfMateoTheBold! wrote: He may have found that server now that the ville will be hosting one. HAHA! As there is only once current pc in this house that could handle BF3 (Frau's laptop chokes on 32 person TF2 servers, so i doubt the 64 player maps my dad liked would hold up very well) at the moment, that is situationally impossible xDClay Pigeon wrote:MateoTheBold! wrote:
