Board Colour

Post by DaKon » Mon Oct 23, 2006 5:57 pm

I have changed it in my profile to a grey theme, but it still shows purple? Ideas as hwo to fix?

The reason is that this bright purple gives me a headache.

Maybe it would be nice to have at least one alternative. For some reason this site hurts my eyes more than the old one did.

This is so very true...my wife always knows when I'm on TheVille

The colours are the same as the last web site. The one difference might be the alternating rows where one colour is slightly lighter to differentiate between the rows. Otherwise, it is still #400080 everywhere! Maybe another thing might be that the CSS text is a little smaller...I have a couple of pages stored from the last The Ville...I'll take a look and do a comparison....

I think what Dakon is talking about is when you sign up for the forums you have the options to set a different theme on how you see the forums for each seperate user. I also chose the blue then the grey and still nothing.

Purple is the color guys. If its hurting your eyes maybe tone down your monitor? :) Stop having it all bright to see in dark corners... haha

Every monitor I use it looks great.

I have an alternative! Wear some sunglasses. :)

Well if it's really that important for everyone to be looking at purple, then I guess I won't complain. I think the reason this old forum was easier to look at was because there was more black areas.

I liked the black behind the posts too. They are still working on everything about this forum. I would suggest letting it smooth out and calm down around here. Plus, it might not be too long before we see another face of the Ville, who knows.
