Did you lose your stuff in the Nether?

So I found a bunch of stuff in the Nether at -601x32x407. Pretty decent gear, including diamond horse armor and two saddles. Thinking someone probably died near there.

I made a chest near there and put the stuff in it. If you own it, help yourself.

OK, so it looks like someone has been to the chest, taken the diamond horse armor, put a bunch of nether bricks in the chest, and changed the sign to read "The end is near". I'm going to assume that was the initial owner of the stuff in the chest.

Only problem is, the two saddles are still in there, and I'm not sure whether the owner still wants them. I don't want the chest to stay there forever, so could I get the owner of the stuff to please clean out the chest so I can remove it, or let me know that you don't want any of the stuff that's still in it?
