Some of probably already know about this but 2player productions have made a documentary about minecraft a while ago. They just added it to youtube for free.
I recommend you watch it if you have time.

The youtube description does in fact say it is a featurelen gth documentary. Just took the time to watch it all and it was kinda neat. I swear I've seen at least part of that on YouTube before.
