I want to play a game with you. A game all about survival! You may have spoken to me in the past about doing this event and now since the ville cup is done, I'm ready to place my preparations in practice on Friday August 16th at 8pm CST.
The game is simple, I shall place you in an wacky age with your inventory stripped to nothing (I'll be enforcing this with my mystcraft magic
) and you must survive and find the means to escape the world I've placed you in. Once you die once, you return to the over-world and are no longer able to participate, in other words you only get one life. In order to prove you survived you must create a linking book to the hardcore age I put you in. You will be able to escape in this following ways:1. Create an age with a "star fissure" page and jump through it to get back to overworld spawn. Then present your linking book to me.
2. Go through another deadly age I've made in order to make it to The End, kill the enderdragon and jump through the end portal to safety. Then present your linking book to me. (I will need confirmation from my fellow tekkiters that I can use The End before I confirm this as an option).
3. Find some other means to make it home that doesn't involve cheating. I'm sure a couple other mods might help you out. Just present your linking book to me to prove you made it.
Why endure this test? For prizes of course! The first 5 people who survive long enough to escape get a selection of one of the following prizes:
1. 64 Shiny Ingots or one stack. Rarest metal in tekkit though only really used for aesthetic purposes.
2. 1 Set of Wither skulls (this Prize is claimable in Tekkit or Vanilla minecraft)
3. 1 Set of Wither skulls (this Prize is claimable in Tekkit or Vanilla minecraft)
4. 64 Diamonds (Tekkit only)
5. 64 Diamonds (Tekkit only)
If you survive you get one prize and it's first come first serve as to which prize you will receive. Anyone else who survives after the first 5 will receive an honorary level 30 enchanted diamond weapon for participating.
Other then those rules here are some other key points:
1. You only get one life, once you die you must use the linking book I place at spawn to get home, don't attempt to escape.
2. Standard ville minecraft rules apply, this isn't a PvP event so don't steal, kill, loot etc.
3. You may work in teams and I advise you to, each team member will count as one person escaping if you make it together, though I may have to split prizes if your late.*
4. If you die, the items you collect in the age are forfeit for other players*
5.This is a closed system so no using Ender chests, Tesseracks, etc to get stuff from the outside
6. There is no real end point for this event, you can finish at any time. Though I advise you to hurray if your after the prizes.
7. You are on your honor. If I catch you cheating in any way you and your friends you've helped get no prizes, I trust in this community enough that will won't be a problem.
8. I also reserve the right to participate in this myself and help whoever I want. I'll be joining once every sign-up is in the age though I obviously don't get prizes.
