My biggest diamond vein so far is 8, I know someone has tied that but has anyone beat that?

So, I've decided to give up on my projects and start over.

I've given away a lot of stuff, my coal and iron to the Transit System and some stuff to help tsmitho get started. There's still a ton of clay, redstone and cobble over at my place as well as some obsidian, 2 diamonds and miscellaneous items in the chests Theres a working obsidian farm deep in the mines if you follow the stone steps all the way down (trough, lava source and 8 buckets).

All of these as well as my place are free to anyone who wants to take them on or tear them down.

I have no idea where you are, but can I have your obsidian? I lost about 50 yesterday when I fell into a hole way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, which is, coincidentally, where I decided to start building when I got back. But I lost my armor, diamond sword and pick and all my materials. Was not good trip.

The only way to beat that is to get really lucky and get two next to each other.

On the new map, I am inside a mountain, with a farm (Nacho's) on the very top above the clouds, and I'm in the middle of constructing a fortress.
Taco is away over beside the ocean, getting ready to build a port.

Spawn is not to be built on because we want to build a hub there so that if people die, they can quickly take a cart to their base.

And we are harvesting trees and replanting them.

Take a look at the annotated map, it's not too hard to find. If it's still there, it's yours.

I've started on the new map off away somewhere. I thought it was East but I was wrong and wandered for two days before finding it again. Once I'm established I'll try to make some signposts. The new map has tons of snow and ice within a minute's walk of spawn. it's also odd to find pumpkins everywhere. The main map has been picked clean pretty much for a day's walk in every direction!

So is the main server going to trash? It seems stevo's sargee's and dans place is just a giant fire now and I heard my farm has got blown up. Are you guys just wrecking the server now?

Dan started a fire in Sargee's tree, then Sargee attempted to control the fire by blowing the island up. We've relocated since then. Your farm was probably attacked by creepers.

Who is building the huge tower away out, on the second server?
Taco and me saw it in the distance while we worked on his place.

Meanwhile, my mountain is gradually turning into a fortress - like Barad-Dur!
Three levels of tunnels through the mountain and right now, I'm closing in a huge creeper spawn fest zone...
