"Banned" from server, can no longer connect.

Here's what happened:
I downloaded a competitive config file for TF2, and while messing with it, it attempted to run a handful of RCON password attempts.
Doing so got me banned from the 24/7 Dustbowl server.

Well, I've submitted a ticket to appeal my accidental ban, and every admin says I'm not on the ban list.
The server doesn't show up in my server list, and when I try to connect, it fails to connect after 4 retries.
I get no "You are banned." message and the server's not on my blacklist.
I can connect to every other TheVille server with no problems.

What's the issue here?

It banned you by your IP.
Please be more careful and don't run rcon commands next time you are on the server.
