Spin out problems

Post by Deacon Frost » Thu Oct 26, 2006 6:47 am

I didnt know if this belongs in here, the FAQ or the dod section but heres my prob. Everynow and then when I'm playing dod my veiw will freak out. It snaps to either all the way up at the sky, or completly down at the floor and starts spinning like crazy. Has gotten me killed a few times now and I'm a lil annoyed by it.

Any ideas on how to fix it? I think Frosty said that there was a fix for it on here or the old forums.

It should work, its a well known HL1 engine problem.

maybe if you did not play drunk the world would not spin as much

When this happened to me I retired my mouse and all the problems went away.....

It never happens with a ballmouse, just with a LED mouse. I have not seen it yet with my laser mouse.

Make sure you have mouse acceleration off in windows and also in game.
