Hi
My monitor has stopped working... Had a Samsung 22".
Right now i sitting on a 32" flat Samsung TV that my son had on his room, he is not happy with that.
The resolution is not what i had before..
I want to buy one that's larger monitor i am considering a 24" or 27" monitor, what do you think is better?
Are the resolution same on a 24" to a 27"? Is it too big to play Left4Dod on a 27"?
Thinking of buying a Samsung again. But when I look, there are Samsung only with HDMI socket.
Is there any difference if you have a DVI compared to one HDMI? I have both DVI and HDMI on my graphics card.
I have looking at this monitor:

Or should I buy myself a 24"?
What is your opinion on that. Are bigger better or what?
Sorry for my bad english, i am a old man from Sweden..

Re: New monitor, mine is broken down
Bigger by itself isn't always better, but bigger and higher resolution pretty much is.
Pretty much any 24 inch monitor will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Many of us play on 24's - they're great.
27 inch monitors come in both 1920x1080 and 2560 x 1440 flavors. They're a delight to play on (I really would like to get a couple for my home set-up, but can't justify replacing my perfectly good 24s yet), though the higher res ones cost a bit more. If you have the GPU to handle it and the money available, get that higher resolution - it's worth it, IMO.
Samsung is good - very highly regarded monitors, and they're beautiful to work on.

I have a 30" 2560x1600 myself and love it! Expensive but totally worth it. It makes me almost beg my boss to work from home (I have dual 1600x1200 monitors at work which is slightly less resolution than what I enjoy at home).

I have a 24in monitor. It won't be that expensive for you.
But, 27in Viewsonic for $240: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824116568
and 24in Acer for $130: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824009440
