[quote="abiscuit";p="195009"]No need to jump the gun, Guardian.

Checkm8 is bringing a legitimate question to the thread.

I don't know much about Paint.net, Photoshop, or whatever people use to make sigs, but I'm sure someone here has the expertise to help you.[/quote]

Thanks abiscuit. Hopefully someone will come around.

Well, I made this sloppy one using GIMP. It will do for now.

I am trying to use an imgur URL for my .sig image and the User Control Panel is (still) returning the error "It is not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." The link itself is fine. I tried to clear out the .sig block and start fresh; it did clear, but then still gives me the same error message.

Is the URL a redirect, or is it the actual file name of the image? Open the image, right click properties, and see if the image URL is the same as what you're trying to paste in.

is the image. I was using the same format for that as for my other pre-existing .sig images. Image
It works there...

388 x 240 is too tall. Width is fine.

Max height is 200 pixels, I believe. Just save the image and re size it in whatever image software you have and then put that sucker on photobucket or something.

Not captain Bobby!
He is too awesome for a signature, he'll bust out at any moment.

Heh.
Thanks for the suggestion. I was wondering about the maximum height issue, but I was also posting from a phone, so it was hard to fix that. :)

Find a place to host your image (I suggest Imgur), and place the image's URL (you can find this by right clicking on the hosted image and selecting properties) in your signature with the [img][/img] tags. Should look something like this:

[img]picture.url[/img].

I think the size limits for the boards are 600x200 (in pixels, 600 long, 200 high) so be sure your image is correctly sized or else you'll get an error when you try to use it.

Would Deviant Art work?

EDIT: Nope DA does not work for this, i put the picture on Imgur, and boom it works.
