Weekly TV2 seed nights?

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Anytime whacky races goes down you will probably get the pangya bro crew in the server, but as soon as it hits Toyfort, peace homie. I wouldn't mind playing on some new maps either.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Does anyone have any suggestions for a date to do any of this stuff? I'm quite excited for this, and I'd like to see TV2 become played again.

"Ah, you know how it is. Doin' a lot of side projects, some consulting, maybe a little freelance... Those are words that people say when they haven't actually been doing anything, right?"

We don't ever seem to have things planned on Wednesday nights, maybe a weekly hump-day activity? Remember it will still require someone taking the lead and sending out invites each time.Supreveio wrote:Does anyone have any suggestions for a date to do any of this stuff? Maybe once I figure out these new-fangled admin doohickeys, I can change the server to other maps and we can do this testing stuff. Hmmmm.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Wednesdays are good for me, but only starting 9VST (this applies to all nights for me). If folks want to go earlier, y'all can start without me and I'll come in when I can.
I am happy to add calendar events to the seeding group for whatever time works, anyone else with admin status can also add announcements and events.
The maps are easy to change, I just use the menu. (The map list is really, really long though.), you'll be fine Supreveio. Usually admins are not in short supply when TV2 is filling up.

Speaking of the Seeding Group...
Maybe we should post these details in the Event forum? So far the group only has 10 people in it, and I don't think many people actually view the Customs Forum too often.

I can help seed, but I do think we need a whole new rotation.
Half of those maps have been in the rotation longer than I've been in <TVB>. (3 years)

Such is my suggestion that we try out new and more recent maps.Bronze Fox wrote:I can help seed, but I do think we need a whole new rotation.

Glacier isn't that recent, but it's not bad.

It was kind of a joke. Around two years ago it was on the rotation for a while and then removed.Flaming Cheese Wheel wrote:Glacier isn't that recent, but it's not bad.
I have not given up on my quest to get it back onto the rotation.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
I would love to try out some new maps, and frankly they are almost all new to me if they aren't on tv6, 7 or 8. I am a part of the Ville seeding group so any message that goes out to all of us I'll get and try to be there. Wednesday is a later night for me for the next few weeks due to track meets, but most of the time its a pretty good night.

+1 for new maps. I don't care what they are as long as they're fresh.
I will try to remember to check the server on Wednesday.

Re: Weekly TV2 seed nights?
Any interest in another group for TV2 custom seeding? Some of the membership in the ville seed group might be outdated? If enough people join, I'll just turn admin over to one of the more active forum members in TV2 threads, but I thought I would get the ball rolling.
Here's a new group:

Regardless, I'm always up for TV2; its my favorite ville server.
