Re: RIP Jeff Healey
Been a Jeff Healey fan for many years. The man was undeniably talented.
I didn't know Gary Gygax passed until I read Nanner's post. I saw this posted on another website:
Dungeons&Dragons is how I became a gamer (before the term was even popularized).Part of my childhood just failed its save vs death.
I could sit here for hours and type pages about what that game meant to me. It was one of the reasons I became friends with this kid when we were in junior high. We're still friends and still play games (video games now) to this day.

It is, and he was the only reason I enjoyed that movie.

Gary Gygax...
Like a lot of you, AD&D was a huge part of my young adulthood and social development. Just think of what an influence Gygax was on the way our whole society entertains itself.
Healey was just one bad dude on guitar and in life. His bio is amazing - he's blinded by eye cancer as a baby then goes on to become a respected star in multiple musical genres. Epic win.

"After completing a trek of Kilimanjaro in 2009, Ronan Keating was asked by an interviewer which celebrity he would most like to throw off a mountain. Keating named Yorke, and referred to him as a "muppet," stating that Yorke was once rude to him." - from Wikipedia
