For full reasoning, Masa was very loudly yelling at both me and refuel as we sat in the saferoom that if one of us was to open the door we were officially dead to him. Then refuel decided to tease the zombies or something and was repeatedly opening and closing the door until he finally let the tank in and we got demolished.

The tank mutation is absolutely horrible..... I cant believe they even released it.

Now if they were delayed for 30 seconds that might be better, if there were no infected that too might be better, but as it is I have never felt such an urge to ragequit in a long time!

Really, the only strategy in the Tank mutation is to get just one person to sneak past the Tanks. While the others are busy keeping the other three down, that fourth guy just hoofs it as far as he can. There are no Smokers/Hunters/etc to incap you so all you need to worry about is the Common Infected slowing you down enough that the chasing tank(s) get to you. Repeat with switched sides until game ends.
