Minor Update - July 28th

Addons
Client's custom HUDs will be reloaded when changing between Official and Non-official servers.

GamePlay
Bullets that first pass through an infected character before striking a Survivor are now ignored as friendly fire.
Fix for survivors speaking The Passing Finale lines in other campaigns.

Versus
Charger now receives 300 points for any Survivor that is insta-killed.
Charger now receives 100 points for any Survivor that is insta-incapped by a charge.
Any infected that causes a Survivor to stumble into a "ledge hang" situation will receive 50 points.

Tank
Tanks go into a stasis when they spawn and leave stasis when the human player takes over.
Tanks in stasis are invisible but still show a glow to the infected team.
Tanks do not attack when they are in stasis.
Tanks in stasis cannot be set on fire or damaged.


SDK Tools
Fixed crash whenever a VMT was loaded in L4D2 tools mode.
Oh thank god....no more worrying about the stupidity of the first five seconds of AI tank ruining a potentially good tank run.

They have a new blog post up too describing some of the changes, and mentioning that next week they'll cover why realism versus was made permanent and nothing else has been so far.

Those all look good to me. It was a pain not getting rewarded when you charged someone off to their death. I'm assuming when they say "insta-incapped" they mean that you end up incapping your Charger target.

Actually, now that I think about it, they may mean when you toss someone (i.e. not your target) who gets incapped from the fall.

I love the point boost for causing people to hang from ledges. It was never fair to Jockeys in particular to cause a potentially game-altering incap from a ledge and only getting a paltry 10 or so points for your ride damage.

I still say the Jockey needs to get some fall damage. It would encourage sneaky, airborne attacks.

I think just getting hit by the charge does damage even before you start pounding. Perhaps that is what it means?

Hopefully, they fixed it so tanks no longer spawn in fire. Doesn't matter if you are in stasis if when you pop out your standing in fire anyway. :\

Yeah, well you still can end up taking control of the tank in lousy situations. I wish they'd let you have at least a few seconds to control before actually spawning.

Also, the jockey still doesn't get any points if you walk someone into a ledge hang.

I think the Charger insta-incap is if you knock them into a big enough fall that they're incapped from the knockback, as opposed to into water or out a window where they're instantly dead.
