Wait as long as you expect the decrypting process to last, at 50% I got a pop-up telling me how far steam was.

I went to offline mode and completed decryption there. Now I'm back online and still getting the same message.

Mine threw errors. Several times.

I deleted it and am in the process of redownloading.

Finally got past the scanning message and fully decrypted. Then it tells me it was an incomplete installation.

This sure doesn't feel like playing the game the moment it's released, I'm pretty sure that's why I preordered and preloaded.

Edit: An hour and a half after launch, finally I get it running

Jim Beam was complaining that the cricket bat sucked.

I don't see what's wrong with it. It's no better or worse than any of the other melee weapons, it just has a different damage effect. Instead of slicing and dismembering, it just batters them to death. Like the frying pan or guitar or the police baton. They still die when you hit them with it, man.

I played the swamp map this morning before work. Sweet map!

OK well I started to get the Decrypting and at finally 100% at 119 AM EST clicked to play and got the same as Carp the Incomplete Install I waited then tried again did this 3 times and finally got it to go to play the game started the game waited for Guardian and Iean and we started to play we were all together and I am guessing my internet crashed I played for a bit then realized that no one was there. friends list was dead ??? so I quite I had to shut down and restart every thing DSL PC to works not sure what happened

going to try again today......

Sorry to hear that Carpe.

I got that message too trying to open it the first time after decrypting, but I double clicked on it again and luckily it started fine.

I played the first part of heavy rain before a headache and my teammates leaving made me decide to just sleep.

Really fun map but dang it WTICHES EVERYWHERE. This campaign is going to be impossible on expert.
