I have something, but I think it is the banner. I will see because it is theville.spr. I think an email to rob might turn up the general sprite. I will try.

Ya, they had the files in two diff folders. I cant remember the name of the other file.

Well, if I have one then I might have the other. I will go through and look at it again. I wish I knew the name.

Also, the map I sent last night wont be the last I just remembered this mornng that the origanl nade pack outside of atttack spawn was removed, and there was also one added in the defenders spawn. I need to make those changes too. I'll have that to you today, so it can be in rotation for the fun night.

If I remember correctly the one file was actually stored in the hl or the valve folder, not the TFC folder. It just escapes me what the name of the file was.

Anything ever happen with this? I was all excited to try it out

Blown and I were able to find one sprite that was the Ville banner. It is in the avanti map that is in rotation on the server. Also in that map is the relocation of the gren packs in both spawns.

The only thing left that we wanted to do is find the sprite of the old general. I have not found it and no one has come forth with it, but we still have one little ounce of hope left we are just waiting on a reply. I haven't given up but we may never have the general back.

OHHHHH YA! the general, wow that's a blast from the past. I would love to see him make a come back.

Digging through my old drive I have found the following sprites:

theville.spr 17K 11/20/03
thevilleb.spr 5k 11/24/03

I also found the following models, which I believe were used on Avanti at the Ville.

These were the files needed to complete the map, and it was good to see all the extras as close to how they were when we could fill the servers for hours. If anyone would like to download and install the map, here is a link to it. Just place the files in the right directories, the .rar file has the structure included. Can't wait for the fun night where we will be able to play on it. When Blown gets it on the server, the files should download automatically when entering the map.
