Sorry 'bout that. I know how it feels (my only question thread never even got a reply).
I did a quick Google search and found this:
I did a quick Google search and found this:
In short: right-click on your game, go to properties -> local files -> verify...
In long:
v_ models are the weapon models drawn in first person (p_ models are those drawn on players, and w_models are the models as they sit on the ground). The bip_pink... is a tag on the player model that acts like a magnet telling the gun where to attach itself, and which direction to face.
The fact that it can't attach your gun to your player means that one or more of the your models is corrupt. Verify the gcf file.

No, it's not that, it's just we don't have an answer. Somehow or the other, it's like your map or maps is trying to compile with a scout model in there. I've been looking through the Steam forums and Interlopers, haven't found anything quite like this yet. I'm still looking though. Maybe, in the short term, upload one of your .vmf's and let someone else try to compile them.

That's a good idea. If somebody else compiles and runs it fine, we'll know for sure whether or not something wrong with your TF2 folder.
