Ctf Mortar & Cube Hill!

Post by shimmybot » Tue Aug 12, 2008 12:13 am

Finally I've finished two maps

First up we've got Ctf Mortar (thank l3 for the name xP)
It's just a small ctf (possibly smaller than Mach4, but eh)

And... well cube hill is kinda self explanitory. Cube soccer map with a lil' hill in the middle for people to push the cube up =)

Well, this sucks.

After spending all day doing a huge update to mortar, my computer froze. So of course, I have to restart my computer. When I booted up hammer, the entire file was empty. So mortar is now officially scrapped

Word to be wise: Save multiple editions on multiple computers. My brainchild, currently known as Platform, is worth over a hundred hours, and is spread across four computers with about 20 versions. The current save, Platform_27, stands for 27% complete.

oh hey, good idea.

This loss wasn't that much of a deal for me though cause as i've gotten better, I've noticed alot of things that I've wished i'd done better, but are to lazy to redo
