[RELEASE] cp_grassyknoll

As a request, I put this map together. Its just one single Cap point and two spawns :lol: Pretty much a death match map, its small. It could be converted to a melee only map pretty easy (for melee mania?)

- The cap is set to 45 seconds
- Respawns set to 1 second
- Barbed wire will hurt player


I had a few guys on with me yesterday for testing purposes (thanks guys!), but we didnt really get a chance to test the game play. It will be interesting to see how it plays out with more people. Im guessing the map will turn into a "Pin the other team in the spawn, so we can cap - map" It will get crowded real quick... but that could make for some fun massacres! Took me about 12 hours total from start to finish. Was good practice for me!

Had fun, but it's a sniper fest!
Needs spawn protection when you run out the doors!

In melee mode, it was a hoot.
If I would make any changes, it would be put the cp on the top of the bridge!

Let's see how it goes with this version, It doesnt matter where or how you set up the spawn doors, there will always be a corner for the snipers to watch as you exit.

I put the CP up on top originally, but it was too open. underneath it has some cover. I was trying to keep most of the action on the knoll. But Im all for improvements if this set up bombs! :D

I had the carts moving, but it was too buggy. Kept getting stuck on it, and it looked pretty cheesy. So, I axed it.

Can you make it melee only...?
We tried melee mode, à la BeetlesMod, last night, but we were still able to get guns via the restock cabinets!

you gotta kill the health lockers too....

actually, you have to kill the func_regenerate tirgger, the locker is just a prop.


Ill look it up and release a melee_grassyknoll, Spawning like melee_barn
