SDK troubles

Ive made a simple TF2 map from one of Beerons posts but every time I try to start from hammer by going, file->run map it brings up TF2 but it will not bring up my map

Wait I think I just solved my own question by looking at another thread I dont think I can have spaces in my title

its named TF2 first SDK project alright let me try to change this up ill probably post in a few minutes

no spaces allowed in the name

If there's a space in the name it will compile in hammer, but TF2 wont be able to run it.

I want to learn how to create maps but for some reason my hammer editor wont let me do anything. I create a block and then it wont allow me to do anything else, it just pans
