Modelling

For anyone interested in modelling, there is a chopped down version of 3DSMAX and it's free, called GMax. Unlike 3DSMAX, you can't render the models into jpegs etc or even render the models as avi files, but it is specifically designed for gaming.

Download it here

It is very easy to use and has the most intuitive user interface (unlike Blender).
