What? No money in my account????

So, I had over $10,000 in my account. I went to give some to a couple of n 0 0 b s, but saw that I had been totally cleaned out! I have only given that money away (aside from a few shield purchases), and I would like to continue doing that.

Any thoughts?

No joy. Money is now slowly accruing again, but the original $10k is gone. Maybe I won't pass it out in big chunks like I used to.

Maybe I'll just have to use it.

This has happened to me two times ,each time I had over $2000.00 in my account and had lost the lot ,it appears to happen when I try to buy something and it wont work properly,or at least that is when I noticed I had no money.
It is very very annoying ,it must be some bug somewhere ,hopefully Dog can fix this problem.
The money does not come back ,it is gone for good ,I know of other players it has happened to also.

dog is aware of quite a few bugs some that require a complete rewrite of code, but currently he as a todo list longer than most peoples arms, im sure he will sort his little DOD baby out as soon as he can. keep the faith it will get ironed out soon.

This bug doesn't affect me much, because all I ever do is give it away to new folks. But not having the money to give to the new folks was mildly annoying.

Mildly. And I will absolutely let this bug slide for as long as it takes to make sure the human-powered Emo never makes a return.

Another thing I notice is tat capping flags doesnt give the money it used to. Lately alot of times only get 1-2 $ for capping - I recall it used to be like 8-16$

But hands down Left4DOD is one of the greatest things out there to play

It depends on the flag.
Flags nearer the enemy spawn give you more $.

Ironically - after reading this thread and then logging onto the server (CoOp) found that ll my money is gone too.

The money issue seems to be limited to TVCoOP the IV server is ok (all my money is still there).

by the way zombies on COOP seem to be amped up (ie. 4 garand shots wont even kill a regular zombie). Might be my lag or some intentional change - just thought would let you know.
