[CotC] stands for "Clan of the Camper". Doom and Quake maps were big, lent themselves to ambush - getting caught in the open was inviting a rocket enema.

Left4DOD is a whole different animal, and I can't even imagine spending time camping a level, unless I was specifically protecting a flag. Even then, you kinda hafta run around.

That thought came to me last night as I was hunting human-powered zombies.

Well i for one have seen silly people spawn camping on certain maps...setting up a MG and waiting for the zombies to get to the last ally flag

Forward MG placement? Out in the open? Or camping in their own spawn, overlooking their own first flag?

Love it when your own guy sets up shop in spawn . And then refuses to leave; or goes just outside and sets up looking into spawn

in spawn or laying down right at the exit of spawn overlooking the first flag. usually the zombies somehow still manage to take the first flag most of the time too..
