DoD:S Map Ratings

Post by Stevo » Sun Apr 05, 2009 10:49 pm

Added to TV12 is a map rating feature. This lets you rate the current map on a scale of 1 to 5 using a simple menu. This will make it easier to get a good idea of which maps are junk and which should stick around!

Anyway, to use this is a simple chat command: !maprate

From there you will be presented a menu to give your rating. You can change your rating as much as you want, so don't worry if you hit the wrong button or change your mind!

To view the ratings. you can type: !maprating

So go out there and vote! :D

Thanks Stevo, now we just need to put in a rotation of custom maps so that we can rate more than just the normal rotation of about 5.

I keep forgetting to vote until the map is over :(

So far the plugin is awesome, though!

I think my favorite so far is dod_aubercy_b4 without a doubt. :hb:

Does anyone remember the map that was crashing folks when they tried to join? Was it grubbenvorst? :?

No it wasn't grubben. I cannot say for sure which it was but i'm thinking Campazzo.

You can always go back and vote for any map by typing !maprating and selecting the map from the list.

Also, I replaced the missing HTML file on the crashing map, so it should be better now.

Thanks for trying to get it to work Stevo. :)
