OK...I have it working - sometimes if you shoot them in the legs, a torso crawls along the ground.

The legs Zombie model is just a ragdoll...so it won't walk... :(
Would have been nice to blow its head off with it still walking!

After playing with the torsos tonight, I think toning down their HP might be in order. Right now, they are ridiculously hard to kill.

Yeah, I filled one with two clips from a garand and it didn't die, do they expire after a while?

They last for 2 mins then they delete themselves.
The original health was set at 1000 because I wanted to see the effects of the torsos on the game - would it kill game play or would it make the game more challenging...

There was always a plan to reduce their health once I'd seen how they worked.
I have dropped health to 400 to see if that is better.

I don't want to make the game too easy and I don't want players to relax.
I've already majorly nerfed the Witch and no-one has noticed that she doesn't teleport behind as much.

I definitely noticed the Witch was a lot easier to kill when I played last night.

Honestly, the biggest problem with the game now is the players. People just want to farm kills instead of actually trying to cap or play.

Poor, poor noob Left4DoD players... they don't understand that it is still just Capture the Flag, but with zombies. It just makes it all the more fun

Yeah.
And some players are leaving in a huff because the new Zombies are hard to kill.

If you just shoot them in the head, the torsos won't appear. Simple.
I guess some people are a little slower to find things out

They are a fun addition. Now that their health is lower, I think they will be fine.

As for people not attempting the objectives, I've been trying to think of ways to promote it but so far have only come up with bad ideas. If I come up with something worthwhile, I'll post it. Until then, those of us who play for the objectives will just have to keep trying to cap. :)

One absolutely horrible idea I had was to slowly, decrease all the Allied health every 10 secs.
The only way they'd stay healthy would be to get health packs or cap flags!
But then you'd get a LOT of wtf moments...

So one idea might be to give out full health and ammo for capping a flag.

I was thinking on this idea today, too. I was thinking of some kind of ticketing system where you spawn slower if objectives aren't being met, but so far all my thoughts are, like Frostdee's, actually terrible ideas. Maybe I'll have a long bath. . . :P

This has bugged me in the past, too. I love the mod, just not the people who farm instead of fight. Perhaps a round timer. Time can only be added by the allies capping points, and each point only adds time once. Run out of time, and zombies/axis wins.
