So I bought source only to see our server empty all weekend long. What gives there, is that server relatively dead like this?

Seeding brought forth not a single player.

The best success I've seen is on Thursday nights. We had a pretty good group last Thursday.

It's a beautiful 32-player server and no-one wants to play it. Willing to bet if we removed it and replaced it with something else, there'd be an outcry!

I'll make it a point to be there on Thursday nights with ya. I'll see what I can do about seeding it more often, though it appears that's been done and done.

Thursday has, at times, been hit or miss for our schedules. So, we've been probing which day of the week is best for the most number on Villuns, here and here.

As Dog has said, try switching the map to Avalanche. That's usually good seeding bait. And, eight's the magic number for a sustainable server population.
