Re: Heartbreaking news about our friend Stevo
Wow... this really stings. Stevo was one of the cornerstones of the community to me, and one of the names I always recognized around the Ville. Things definitely won't be the same without him. Rest in Peace, friend.

I couldn't put it any better.abiscuit wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 7:04 pmStevo is an embodiment of everything TheVille stands for. You could tell he really loved this place. Spent countless hours playing TF2 among other things with him. The most Stevo thing I can think of is him saying "What" in that Stevo way.
He will be missed.
I may not be around much anymore but the memories we all made together have never left me. Truly heartbreaking news... I send nothing but love to Stevo and his family.
I was much younger then, so hanging out with Stevo always made me feel like I got a chance to hangout with the cool older kids.
You will be missed Stevo
you all

Re: Heartbreaking news about our friend Stevo
Stevo was definitely the spirit of TheVille for me. He always made the games about having fun, whatever we played. He always sought to make sure people had a good time. He was helpful and good-hearted. The only time I saw him annoyed or mad was with people who couldn't or wouldn't have fun with things.
The iconic memory for me will always be the way he would say 'push little kart' in that deadpan voice when we played payload maps way back when. I still think of it anytime I hope on a PL map.
I am so sad that we've lost him.

Very sad news.
He was only 32? Wow, he must have been really young when he started running things, because I think he's been doing that for at least as long as I've been here.
He will be missed.

Re: Heartbreaking news about our friend Stevo
I'm just in shock hearing about Stevos passing.
He was a part of the Ville for so many years and this place just wont be the same without him.
I have many fond memories of him, playing TF2, playing Minecraft, and just being a good Villan to have around.
Rest in peace Stevo and my thoughts are with your family.

Stevo had a way about him. Deadpan. Mirth always peeking through. He used to always worry me in minecraft... no armor. He would pop up, meander around a build, put in time. He made fun things too... a giant stove. We loved him and will certainly miss him. His VODs on twitch are a nice place to hear that characteristic voice. He was a sweet guy and I raise my glass to him tonight.

OMG....this is completely heartbreaking. Stevo was one of the first friends I made here at the Ville and I always enjoyed gaming with him on DoD and later TF2. This really hurts a lot, especially being a member of TVR. He was such a great and kind soul. To me, Stevo was the embodiment of what The Ville was all about. I'm glad I got to share what time I had on here with him. Rest in love friend.

Re: Heartbreaking news about our friend Stevo
Much sadness in this news. A reading of these posts are evidence enough of the impact he had on this gaming community.
It is ironic that it takes times like this to have us pause and reflect on past instances of contact, mirth and merriment we had with this person or that.
Something as warped as sticky grenades on the wall, engaging in an electronic battle royales, or chasing dinosaurs around for their poop.
Life is so precious, and sometimes so short. We are so blessed to have it, and the interactions between people of common interest become all the more valuable when faced with a happening like this.
We are better for having the contact with him, however brief. Rest easy, Stevo.

heartbreaking. some of my favorite memories here involved stevo. for the first few years i had no idea he even had any kind of illness because he did so much here. i loved his sense of humor, his "what" always made me laugh. i still vividly remember making the tf2 music videos with him

Stevo was always one of the core Ville players that stuck around and it fun. I've always enjoyed being a teammate or an opponent. He never took the game part too seriously.
He will be missed!

I just heard about Stevo. He was always able to inject his brand of deadpan humor into any situation.
If you were going to jump in a game and you saw Stevo on the the server list, you knew you were in for an absolutely great time. Win or Lose, you would have fun.
Much love to you all, may have to boot up TF2 again

I'm still sitting here in shock processing this, the purple place has truly lost one of its greats. I can still remember that crazy naked banana man showing off the failtress and the stupid amount of travel time to the base back in the day when I first joined the ville. I always loved the way he would just pop up in minecraft to see what you were doing and vomit whatever you might need onto you.
RIP good sir, you will be severely missed!
