I cant believe that I let the date of Blue Rulers death pass without remembering it!

Three years ago our friend Blue Ruler passed away suddenly of a heart attack. Many of us at the Ville were shocked by the news and saddened by the loss.

It was on May 18th (I believe) 2004 that Blue Ruler passed away, he was a great person to play with, a great friend and a great Villun.


Blue Ruler, you touched many and you are still missed.



Take care Blue, wherever you are.

Its a shame to see that the links to his funeral program and various other items are gone. Perhaps we will be able to find them again from a backup somewhere.

Yes it's gone by way to quickly, I think of Blue each and every time I log onto the Ville or get on a server.

Actually, the 4 year aniversary was this weekend.

I've read conflicting reports on the exact date of Blue's death - some posts say the 17th, some the 18th.

Based on reading the old forums, I believe the fatal accident was on Monday, May 17th, and he was pronounced dead on the 18th. If you would like to understand the full details, you can read about it in the first post from roofcutter:
