question about custom decal

I have a question about custom decals. I know how to convert them into WADs and make them read only and all that. But how in the world can you make it transparent like carrot's decal?

Its for cs so youll have to adjust the directories accordingly to dod etc, but should be pretty easy if you have a spray going already.


Looks like you use blue 255 for transparent areas

for all the HL mods, the transparent colour is [0 0 255] - rgb values

you can actually make whatever color you want be the transparancey, just so long as it is in the last location on your color table. but in most cases its easiest with true blue because it stands out so well.
