How do you blow up the Me 262s, and does this serve a purpose?

No it doesn't.

And to blow them up, hit the engines with your spade/knife/shoot at it.

in a way it serves a purpose, now you can use the Me262 Schwalbe as a bunker/cover if you will so no one can shoot your feet.

Well its quite simply really, follow the steps below and the cow will "jump" over the moon....

Step 1:
Load zook with rocket

Step 2:
Aim zook for a place in the rear of the cow, where once the rocket has been launched shall be inserted in a hole

Step 3:
Watch as the rocket becomes an internal jetpack for the cow sending it over the moon

Step 4:
Bring popcorn to properly enjoy step 3.

No there used to be a way to make a cow jump over the moon.Break all the
breakblesin order to unlock the hidden panzershrek, in the huge crate left just past the axis door. Then shoot the panzer at the moon.
Presto bossy flew over the moon.
But some of the breakables needed to do it have been removed from the map. So if it can be done now I do not know how.

Yeah, I remember seeing the cow jump over the moon, I think. It's a shame you can't do it anymore. I love easter eggs!
