Competing MVM steam groups

Unfortunately, it looks like we've got two different MVM groups around with a large number of Villuns present:

and
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TVMU

It's unfortunate, but since the first one isn't really affiliated with TheVille, I guess there's not much we can do about it. Oh well...

I don't see it as competing, it is simply two different groups. The Ville specific one I think was started a ways back, and prang's is pretty new.

I belong to TEH OCHO group and <TVB> steam groups. I also belong to both MvM groups. I don't think one takes away from the other.

Agree, competing is probably the wrong word.

But I am making some effort not to belong to too many groups, and not belonging to both of these groups reduces my ability to MvM.

Having two different groups reduces the membership size of each of them.

I'm in both, but the newer one people actually occasonally use to make announcements that people want to start an MvM lobby or are looking to round one out.

I've never seen an announcement from the Ville group, I actually forgot I was in it. I didn't start the other group but when the new maps came out everyone wanted to play so it seemed like a great idea and I threw out a ton of invites. I don't see anything unfortunate about it but if there is a problem with admin or moderator rights talk to Danny or Blackhawk, I think they were the guys who got it off the ground.
