Why is my ping to TV 8 suddenlly so bad?

Why is my ping to TV 8 suddenlly so bad?

So I use to have a ping of about 100 to TV 8, not great but playable. Suddenly it has gone to about 500! Not very playable. I understand TV 8 is on same server as say TV 6, where I have a good ping. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

TV8 is in Texas and TV6 is in California. Maybe there's a bad hop between you and TV8.
