Day9 Funday Monday (SC2)

For those of you who play Starcraft, or hell, think it's vaguely interesting, you need to check out Day9. Ordinarily he "teaches you how to be a better player", but not on Mondays. Mondays are Fundays, where we do crazy things to "mess with the metagame that is the ladder" by imposing strange restrictions to see what results.

Examples of past Funday Mondays:

• Zerg: No Queens <-- Very interesting
• Protoss: Carrier before expanding
• Terran: No Marines, Marauders, or Tanks <-- Awesome
• 3v3/4v4: At the start, publicly call out the one (combat) unit you will produce all game. <-- Hilarious
• FFA: Kill your opponents in alphabetical order

Not sure if you Villun SC2 players are very active, but this week it's the 3v3/4v4 one-unit encore, so that'll be up tomorrow. Probably too late to do it this week, but if there are any other team-based Funday Mondays, I'd love to roll with anyone else that wants to do it.

Day9 is actually the only commentator I can watch for SC2, and I just have to add he did an amazing job co-commenting the SC2 tournament at blizzcon. From the reactions I could here by other players I am sure a lot more people are going to get into competitive SC2.

I usually do not listen to Day9 because he is sooo analytical...which is good if you are watching to improve your own game. I usually just watch to see some crazy match though so I go to HD and Husky.

I would certainly be down for our own version of Funday Monday amongst villuns. We can even makeup our own versions...like only only one type of each unit can be made...or something.

His Funday monday cast is good but I prefer HD and husky for regular casts too.
