Path of Exile (f2p)

I'm downloading this game now from their website:

It's supposed to be close to Diablo 2. It is a free to play that claims to NOT be a pay to win. They have a microtransaction market that they claim is purely cosmetic.

Its just came to open beta, no more character wipe, 3 acts released.

Not sure what any of that means since I have only seen promo-videos and screenshots.

I've been playing it since the closed beta (I began back in May 2012). 1 great thing they have going for them is that its not play-to-win, the only micro transactions are either cosmetic or more stash pages and extra character slots.

The game will be in final release on October 23, at which time it will be available (for free obviously) on steam. A new character is being released as well as new skill gems and an updated passive skill tree.

its ok the market currency is whack makes trading hard also community is pretty crappy in general its a ninja loot game. I have a hi lvl char sitting around but havent touched him since like June. Fun to play through first coupe times though with a partner

You can create a party where high value loot will only be available to certain players for either a short time or permanently (till they pick it up and drop it) or you can just go free for all loot, but there are options to limit loot grabbers.
