Conspiracy theory ahead
That got me to thinking: What if The Last of Us is an alternate reality of BioShock Infinite, and Joel and Ellie are actually Booker and Elizabeth in an alternate universe?
Bonus: There's a sequel to The Last of Us. It takes place about a decade later, Joel and Ellie have assumed different names, and they pick up two other survivors—a black guy and a biker dude.
