My oven baked graphics card finally died so I haven't been able to play many games of late. Got a 1080 ordered though so that'll change soon!

The housing for the fan and the fan itself (I think) are both plastic, they came off together when I unscrewed and detached the heat sink.

So the card got glitchy again with exactly the same symptoms.

Re-baked at 385F for 8 minutes this time, and it's back!

Poor thing just has to last long enough until the GTX 1080s come out!

I finally got a new joystick for xmas and am now continuing my journey to the galaxy center.
Still a long long way to go (because I obsessively explore every system I journey through...might stop that soon!), currently about 2100Ly from Sol and heading towards the Lagoon Nebula.
