We were 7-2 daily, with zero hour at 6AM. Zero wasn't optional for many of us - it was the only way to take required classes. My district decided that they didn't want elementary school kids out while it was still dark in the morning, so pushed back the older kids as early as possible so they could use the same buses back to back. They wouldn't go later, because they thought it would mess with athletics.

ha ya i think school is at reasonable times usually. i only have 1 class 2 times a week at 8 but once a week i have class till 6

Yeah where did you go to HS? Mine was 8-3ish, although there were optional "zero" period classes starting at 7

where the heck did you go to highschool alizee??? lol. ours was always 8:15-3:30 every day. Lunch at either 11:00 or 12:00 for the different lunch hours

Well, to be fair - school in the US does tend to operate on fairly inhumane schedule. In highschool, I had to get up at 5 AM, class was at 6am, lunch was at 10AM, etc. It's all built around sports, for some idiotic reason.
